# Secursus - Shipping Insurance Provider (Knowledge Base)

## Mission & Identity
Secursus is a fully digital shipping insurance broker offered by Figural. We provide specialized third-party coverage for parcels sent via major carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, Royal Mail, etc.).
We act as a cost-effective alternative to carrier liability, specifically for high-value items, with a claim process managed entirely by our team.

## Service Parameters
- **Cost:** Real-time rate based on value (typically 0.6% to 1%).
- **Coverage Limit:** Up to €100,000 / £90,000 per day/carrier (higher upon request).
- **Claim Speed:** Compensation within 30 days max (often faster) upon file validation.
- **Duration:** Coverage lasts max 14 days from pickup (15 days for La Poste).

## Eligibility & Geography (Critical)
*Based on T&Cs Art. 3*
- **Allowed Senders:** Must be located in **Europe or the UK**.
- **Allowed Destinations:** All of Europe + USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Norway, New Zealand, Israel.
- **Excluded Regions:** **Africa (entire continent)**, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and all embargoed countries (Iran, North Korea, etc.).

## Core Rules & Compliance (The "Anti-Hallucination" Section)
*If these rules are not met, the insurance is void.*

1.  **Mandatory Signature:** Coverage applies ONLY if delivered against a **signature**. Delivery to a neighbor, porch, or safe place voids coverage (unless carrier negligence is proven).
2.  **Packaging Standards (Art 8.1):**
    * **Double Boxing:** Items must be packed in a rigid box, placed inside a second larger rigid box (Box-in-Box).
    * **Soft Packaging:** Bubble mailers/envelopes are ONLY allowed for items valued under €200.
    * **Pallets:** Not covered (unless written agreement).
3.  **Anonymity:** No indication of brand, value, or content on the external packaging.
4.  **Photos:** Sender MUST take photos of the item and packaging **before** shipping.
5.  **Receipt:** If damaged, the recipient must write specific reservations ("Damaged box", "Missing item") on the delivery slip.

## Specific Exclusions (What we do NOT cover)
*Based on T&Cs Art 4.3 & 6.2*
- **Prohibited Items:** Cash/Money, Living animals, Temperature-controlled goods, Tobacco/Alcohol/CBD, Furs/Skins.
- **Fragile Items:** Glass, Ceramics, Porcelain, Screens/Monitors (Excluded *unless* packaging is validated by Secursus beforehand).
- **Logistics:** Moving/Removals (Déménagements), Maritime/River bulk transport.
- **Marketplaces:** Sales between two individuals (C2C) are excluded unless the seller is a registered business (or approved by Secursus).
- **Cosmetic Damage:** Scratches or dents to the box or item (only functional breakage/loss is covered).

## Carrier Specifics & Limits
- **General Carriers:** Max €100,000.
- **Evri / Hermes:** Max limit capped at **€1,000**.
- **Relay Points:** Generally excluded, EXCEPT for "Mondial Relay" / "Relay Colis" in France (Limit capped at **€500**).
