Coronavirus : in this crisis, together.
Everywhere in the world, the coronavirus pandemic has changed our daily lives. Companies have adjusts their services to protect not only their clients, but their employees as well.
Many countries now apply strict lockdown regulations to limit the spread of the virus and to protect the population. Therefore, as many others, the transportation industry has been strongly affected by this pandemic.
Health safety is an absolute priority for everyone and we encourage you to stay at home as much as possible. But during these difficult times, we understand your concerns and would like to reassure you regarding your parcels.
What are the consequences on the shipping of my parcel?
First of all, it is important to check with your carrier if they have changed their service. Many carriers are facing delays due to the new security measures. Some websites have even decided to stop their service until further notice.
If your parcel is affected by a delay, we ask you to contact us as soon as possible so we can extend the coverage period of your insurance, which is normally of 14 days.
Second of all, some carriers have stopped delivering with signature to limit contacts between clients and employees. In that case, they drop the package in front of your door. If your parcel is delivered this way, we ask you to pick it up immediately. In case of damage, take pictures then email your carrier on the same day to make a claim and describe the damages in detail.
Regarding non-deliveries, the recipient must send an email to the carrier on the day the delivery was planned and indicate the non-delivery.
